Thanks! What kind of charcoal?
Wish I had a camera setup to see her since I'm away from home now.

I use activated charcoal from the fish section of the pet store. Can buy it in little cartons and crush it to powder in a mortar and pestle.

@Happy Novogens she can actually go longer then 24 hours without food. I'm guessing she won't need to but if she hasn't emptied by then, still with hold food until it does. Give more oil, charcoal water and massage. Fresh food digests faster then the compacted, spoiling food is why. Lots of water helps and remember the oil is a concentrated food.

The size of her crop seems to have gone done somewhat. It's more squishy -- feels like gravel in there. She's been drinking the coconut oil. She wants to eat pellets but I'm keeping her from it. Just now got some charcoal, so have to grind it.

Anything else I should do or know?

Not that I know of. Sounds like you're doing good and squishy is good... it'll clear easier that way. Hope she makes a full recovery and keeping my fingers crossed for her.
If she reaches a point where it feels like it's just liquid in her crop, then she's ready for solids.
Probiotics might help too. I always keep some of the capsule type in my fridge so I can add them to pet food if I think they're needed. I buy em from the pharmacy vitamin area. Papya juice can also help as it contains digestive enzymes.

Before it started raining I had gone out to top of the waterers in the coop and check for any late layed egg's. The wind was blowing so hard that I had to fight it to get the coop door latched from the inside so that the chicken's wouldn't run out of the coop. Got it all done and was back in the house before the rain came.

We got a little spit down here in Tucson but the wind wasn't so bad. I heard that rain start and went out to enjoy the cool it brings . Ended up sitting in the dirt with the babies and letting them maul me while the rain came down

Just wish we'd gotten a good down pour! I'll have to water the garden tomorrow after all

Well, it looks like the monsoon has started, so maybe you will get some good rain soon.

Family just got home and I'm hearing horror stories about the rain and wind in town. Downed trees and all kinds of stuff. Ouch. Hope everyone's ok.
