Arizona Chickens

[Tonopah Pati]

Hello......... Welcome to BYC

I live in Tonopah. I have two very small flocks.

1. 3 RIR's, 2 EE's, 1 Bantam Cochin Gold Lace Rooster.

2. 1 Bantam Cochin, Black Frizzle Rooster, 2 black, and 1 white Frizzle, hens. 1 white Cochin hen.

1. Bantam, Sultan Rooster. Pure white. Rare Breed.

Trying to learn all I can about the breed.

I have 1 cat, Archie Bunker, and two dogs, Basset hound, Abby, and Rhodesian ridgeback mix, Bear.

Howdy to all Arizona Chicken wranglers. Looks like we will have a nice day today.

I am still kooking for Bantam Cochin pullets that are Blue. Sighhhhhhhhhh!

The baby chicks are sooooooooo, cute. I love them! Thanks for sharing.

budkingston - i have seen the questions about pipping on the wrong end. You might search the forum for it.

Alvin - cute.

TUCSON / PIMA COUNTY - my DD (Dear Dad) and DB (Dear Brother) are outside the Tucson city limits. So what are the rules/codes for Pima County? Some of you are soooo good at finding this stuff, so if you have time, would love your help again.

It was nearly starved and we couldnt take her to a shelter. I often swear she is Satan's sister.

I went with Darwin. She appears to be making it out on her own. Should be free when I get back. I am a big proponent of Darwin, just have to reconcile it with my compassion... Not always easy to do.

On a chick-hatching-related note, one more of mine hatched last nite. Pics to follow after going into the brooder. Not chipmunky, she looks really yellow...Kinda sad, my 3 year old had two more names already lined up

Well, I have so far 171 photos that I am going to have to judge. I cant believe Ive gotten that many for my online contest. There are some really good one's in there too. This is going to be sooooo hard.

Everyone still has till the end of march to submit photo's too... yikes!
