OMGosh!!! I just looked out the window towards the mtns, the Catalinas are covered with snow!

It's beautiful! It looks like it came down to at least 3000', I can't see it much lower from here. There seems to be A LOT of snow up there!

TT! :

My chickens hate snow, and my poor garden!

My kid is thrilled though, and I'm soaked from all the soggy snowballs!

YAY SNOW!

I can't believe you got snow and we didn't!

Was this your kid's first experience with snow? I'll bet he had fun!

We ran into a patch of dirty snow on Mount Lemmon last spring, but this is the first time it really counts

He LOVED it, but now he's snuggled on my lap and dethawing.

My poor chickens didn't share his enthusiasm. They all piled out of the chicken house, picked at it for a moment, then turned around and went back inside. Then they stood in the doorway and complained.

definately NO SNOW in north phoenix. just a huge mucky mess from the rain in the run that the chickens insist on wading in, drinking from and probably getting themselves all sick by drinking poopy water. good thing i cleaned the whole run out last night before i put them up for the night.

i would definately love to learn to make soap! i can quilt, sew and embroider(by machine) and i was a pastry chef before the kids were born. who wants to trade classes? currently, i am a SAHM, but i am not sure i can teach anyone how to do that because as i type i am having some one else clean my house for me

who has the time? between t-ball and gymnastics, running a daisy troop and selling all those cookies(anyone need girl scout cookies? i have them!!!!!) volunteering in classrooms, my chicken habit.....the list just goes on and on

We are at about 4,000 feet here in Rio Rico. We are actually higher than most of the town, and got a little more snow than most of my friends. I know this because all of us are posting pictures on facebook like crazy.

I made my album public in case anyone wants to see:

It's mostly kids but there are a couple of chicken pics.

I found a very wet and very cold bunny covered in cholla. My husband took the cactus out (it was even in the eyelid!) but the bunny still won't hop. He's looking around more, but shivering violently.

I don't really want to keep him in the house (I can see the fleas on him) but he looks so cold. Don't really know what to do.
