Arizona Chickens

Mine one favorite box to lay in. i may try the golf ball trick again to try to get them to lay in the three hole box i got at the feed store.
Yes the hat is on the way...hopefully some rain this summer too.

I never have trouble getting egg cartons, i just give a dozen eggs away and people just bring me cartons. I guess hoping I'll give them more eggs. Also women at my church are more than happy to save their egg cartons. They are of course all marked with brand name, so if you wanted plain ones I guess i'm not help...

I will take whatever I can get... I take free eggs to my neighbors and haven't gotten a single carton back

I just made carton labels tonight and they say "please return cartons" so I will make sure that is on the next carton they get.

There is a house on the other side of the diary farm here and there are peacocks EVERYWHERE! I'm going to get some eggs from them when they come into season.

When we lived in Tempe a neighbor of ours had a Zebra in their front yard. Once the kids went for a bike ride with my husband and they came back telling me about it. It was quite neat.

i trade chicken eggs with my neighbors
for egg cartons, because i use to give
some eggs to my family and they
never bring the egg cartons
when we sell chicken eggs
i added 50 cents for the egg
carton, then that way they bring their
own egg cartons and you save money
or ask them to save the egg cartons for
you, i ask my aunts and uncles
and they save the egg cartons for me

You all have been busy today.

I'm tired and I'm going to try and go to sleep.

Wednesdays are Squaw Peak day... see if I can better my time going up.

I ordered some of the clear plastic 3x4's from eggcartons.com last weekend. I thought they were a little pricey for an empty egg carton. But, I wanted them for gifts (mostly to show off my beautiful eggs). The price per unit drops a good bit, the more you order.

AND.........
A new personal best for my girls today, A DOZEN EGGS!!!!!!
