You could try switching to slices of carrots or potatoes for moisture. Less sugar = less fruit flies.

I am in housing community so they might not like to much noise will have to see how it goes. Although there dogs are probably more noise than my chickens will be.

I have 4 laying hens (2 anconas, 2 delaware, hatchery stock) and one minorca rooster that I am thinking about selling. They started laying about 3 weeks ago. I have too many eggs
