Arizona Chickens

Just looked that up - it's not. The one I saw a picture of was maybe yellow with a dome top. I'm just looking for something small & inexpensive to take to DD's school for their science class.

It's probably the GQF chick-bator

I was thinking the same as you.

We had one years ago and actually hatched 5 quail in it.

Oh I love it!
What a great mom!

Just think of how much the chickies will love you.!

Enjoying the rain today!??

Boy so strange, considering it was still like summer 2 days ago.

I know! Right now it is 59 degrees out...it was 90 degrees 2 days ago. 59!! Can there be no happy medium?

The rain is nice, though. I should not complain

.

I know!

Some of our weather swings are unbelievable! People joke about 2 seasons. Hot and cold no in between.

Could be worse, I have a friend in So. Cali and it's already down in the 40's at night.

It's a good day to stay in and sprout seeds and cook for the critters.

I'm boiling eggs, started some sprouts and am going to make birdie corn bread here in just a few..
And may even start some seeds in pots. (I have parakeets and other birds, so make tons of diff. treats!)

What part of town are you in ?

I'm near A mountian. Mission and Silverlake area.

Rain has let up for now. I love the cloudy days though!

Sounds like a good way to spend the day. I, unfortunately, am off to work now. Ho hum.

I'm Northwest...Cortaro and Thornydale area.

Good luck! I don't envy you at all.

We had one for a few days here in the suburbs. I don't know how my dog managed to stay stink-free. No one we called would come get it so my husband resorted to spraying it with the hose until it left under the gate it got in at.

Oh the poor things !

Well..
I know why you took them. You have a huge heart

and they will do well and feather out before you know it !!
If they're laying after what they've been through, they are already happy and showing gratitude!

Well we mixed 1 bottle peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1 TBS dawn dish soap and washed our little stink bug...er...dog with it and BINGO smell lessened by prolly 85% Thanks to the kind soul that mentioned it and we (and Ginger) are way happier now.
