Hi Mikey,

Yes do keep an eye on her, but is it possible she was dust bathing?

After a good bath they are indeed covered with dirt and will be laying all sprawled out looking all weird and this is normal chicken behavior. Or was she sitting in the small depression not moving for a long time looking lethargic and all?

That is indeed a good thing....

That's exactly what I was thinking. Mine seem to get into some weird trance-like state while dust bathing.

I did not observe the dust bathing behavior - she was just sitting there, yes lethargic (I only saw for about 2 minutes) while I was handing out treats. I kept hoping she'd get up and come over.

I guess it could have been post dust bath behavior...

I'm probably just being a silly papa hen
