No, I havent tried that, but I will. The vet said if it is internal laying, it might resolve on its own. Ascities would be due a heart problem. How do you feed a "probiotic solution"? And how much cider vinegar in the water? She eats and drinks just like normal. And what does oregano oil do? Thanks in advance!
Oregano oil is antibacterial. I'd probably use I as a topical but I'm not sure. We use it for ear infections in dogs, sore throats in people. A little goes a really long way.
Organic apple cider vinegar and homemade kefir ( I can give you kefir grains if you need) are your best bets for probiotics. Or, kombucha. I'd love to find some kombucha scoby, don't have that, yet. Just greed her the kefir, ACV you can put in water.
You can even give her a little bit of the kefir grains straight if you have enough to spare. Or the kombucha scoby.
The probiotics can help her body fight infection, the good bugs fight the bad bugs, it really does work, even when other medicines can't sometimes.
