yes mikey, it's totally my fault you got those wellies. i only have 2 also and i wish i had more. they are big girls and very loud at 4am. did i forget to mention that?????? i got mine from a breeder in gilbert(back in time farm) last spring along with a few red sex links. they are just the nicest birds, well, except the one that bites.

i may have to give her a call to see if she is hatching out chicks again or has any eggs for sale.

Why is it that on my birthday I get about 40 posts to my wall and when my dog, my buddy, my shadow dies I get two?
She died yesterday morning quickly and unexpectedly. Apparently she had tumor on a vital organ that ruptured and she bled to death internally in a matter of minutes. We had her at emergency within 10 minutes of her collapse but there was nothing they could do.
Happy and healthy one minute, gone the next.

Sorry about your loss Beckysinglsc.. Our pets are as much a part of our families as our children are, and to lose one is a very painful experience.. She was a very beautiful lady.. Keep the faith, this pain will lessen in time, and I'm sure she would not want you to suffer... Will

My sympathies on the loss of your dog especially when unexpected. She was a beautiful girl.

Yes..find out. because I am dying for some!!! Called revival health and it should ship today and it takes 3-4 days to get here..hopefully by saturday

Wow, I missed 150 posts over the weekend and just got caught up. Sorry to hear about the all pets passing (frog, dog, and chicks) This weekend we had kids birthday parties to attend, family dinner at my house (14 mouths to feed), a hangover to nurse, and a coop to build. Well my dh is building and I am directing and painting.

Here is our progress.

Roof and shingles up, nest boxes framed.



Siding up, hinges on East facing wall for access to cleaning coop, north side fully sided with two windows for air circulation for chicks, the west facing side will be 1/2 sided and 1/2 open for air, the run will be ivy covered for shade, the south side which is closest to the house will have 4 nest boxes and sided. The rafters have a 3 inch gap to allow air flow. After the siding is up and painted red, the white 1"x1" trim will outline the chicken house to make it look barn house 'like'. My dh is doing such a good job. The kids are jealous that the chickens get this house and not them.
