I know you can't use ACV with a galvanized watere but what about a watering system that uses the nipples? I believe the nipple metal part is stainless steel. I like adding ACV to the water once a month for a week. Is is ok with the nipples? I have been just using a regular plastic water bowl when using the ACV but would just like to add it to my nipple waterer

I've been adding it to the "nipple water"

for 6 months now with no ill effects.

Actually, now that I think about it it may reduce the calcium buildup...

Just get some identical hens. Busy bodies who try to count them will just get confused.

I did it....I only got one. She is a little scared but I have a feeling that she'll come around with some yummy snacks. Now for a name.

I am taking 1 cat kennel to get ONE hen. Those things are monsters so I won't be able to get any more. I don't think I could fit two of those in a cat kennel. Please don't tell me any different.

Mama turkey still sitting tight!!! YEA!!! I hope I get at least 1 to hatch, LOl. I didnt write down which day she started to sit constantly but I know for sure it will be the last week of March. Cross yuor fingers that she stays with it!

I'm "thinking" about getting a Black Jersey Giant at The Feed Barn myself... can't beat the price... and I need shavings and DE and some game bird layer so maybe I'll head out there tomorrow afternoon.

I can't believe how many roos I hatched out over New Years and Ground Hog's Day.

I hope I get more pullets for my Easter Hatch.

I may take some roos out to the Stock Shop or to Pratts too.

Someone else laid an egg yesterday.

One Dot lays on the shelf & her sister lays in the large nest box.

There was a tiny egg in the smallest nest box with a small amount of blood on it.

Hope my peeper is OK & happy someone else is contributing!
