Quitting my job and selling the kids so I can keep up with this thread. The double decker brooder looks good although, I think little boys and dogs smell up the house enough so I like to keep the foul outside. My chicks are doing good except one Golden Lakenvelder that got smooshed on the really cold night two weeks ago. Sorry to hear about yucky eyes and mites out there.
My wife also tried her first ever bee swarm removal during that time and though the swarm she moved was to cold and wet from getting caught in the storm the prep work she did to her hive has attracted feral bees so she's pretty jazzed.
Bunnies have trashed most of the garden and are now public enemy number one, but I have freezer space so....
And on a last note, hey Mikey you suppose if I ran out your way you could hold my hand and help me narrow a set of bars for the scooter? I have some welding skill (not much) but no welder and I have a set of mini apes that would look better on a narrow front end with a couple inches taken out of them.
