Professor Bramwell just released who the developer of the original birds was. http://www.whitingfarms.com/ He has sold the rights to the original birds to a hatchery. The debate has been since the U of A had them for several years and did some work with them were they the same breed or not. I haven't seen anything that came to a conclusion. Whiting is pronounced witting so doesn't sound quite as strange as white/blue. LOL

Peyton Creek Homesteaders Swap Meet
There was such a large turnout at the first one on April 20 we're doing it again, Saturday May 18. Any farm or garden related products from goat soap, chickens, rabbits, plants, ect. Had a lot of homemade products at the last one, like homemade butter, rice pudding & baked goods. Lots of info was shared at the first one so if you have something to share.....bring it on. Dealer setup is only $5.00. This is great location on a busy stretch of Hwy 65 between Clinton & Leslie, AR along side Peyton Creek with this great waterfall as a back drop. There may be some locals playing music. It should be a good time, bring the family....this is a great spot. For more info call 501-205-2705 if no answer please leave a msg. we will call you back or contact us here. Jerry & Hilda....Rocky Hill Farm
