I have Pekins as well, I’m in the same boat ,I have 2:2 males:females which is why I’m looking to get a few more females.

@cdhugs63 did you ever get more females?


Also is anyone interested in an almost 4 month old mixed drake (Pekin dad/Rouen mom) as a pet? (Rehoming fee or swap for a female) It’s one that I did an assist hatch on. (Otherwise I’d just sell him to my friend as dinner) He can’t seem to get it through his head that Donald is also a drake and he keeps trying to mate him (and it’s not just a dominance thing, bc penis was out). Donald has neurological issues and an injured leg already so he’s been separated, but any time Bandit (drake I’d like to rehome) gets access to Donald he goes after him. He’s also mating with one of our females (which is totally fine).

Hey guys! I have 3 Blue Cochin Bantam cockerels that are 3 weeks old. I would love to keep a trio to breed BBS but I just dont have the space. So, I have to give them away.

I also hatched some Black Cochin Bantams under a broody hen. These are from my roosters and hens. I think I am going to sell these. Plum won't be happy! 4 chicks and counting!

Hi everyone! Not sure if I've ever posted here or not...if so, it would've been years ago, and I didn't feel like reading back thru that many posts, lol. I just wanted to say hi and ask about a few different breeds I've been searching for. I'm hoping someone fairly nearby may have some. I'm looking for Colored Dorkings, Crele Penedesencas, Salmon Faverolles, and Bielefelders. I know some of these are pretty rare and the chances of anyone in AR having them is pretty slim, but I figured I'd at least ask.
Also, just out of curiosity, what birds do you all have? I have LF Ameraucanas in BBS, BBS Wheaten, Silver, and Self Blue, Blue & Black Birchen Marans, Barred Plymouth Rocks, one Black Jersey Giant pullet, and a couple Amberlink cockerels (from TSC this spring). Hoping to start selling the Ameraucanas and Marans in the spring. Will have both hatching eggs and chicks for sale, if anyone will be interested. The others are probably just going to be kept as layers or sold/eaten. So cool to find a group of people in the same state! I love that. Can't wait to get to know you all!
