Arkansas folks speak up.........

I have him in a pen with 10-12 week old Cinnamon Queens right now. My son wants to put him in with a couple of my Cuckoo Marans for barred EE's. I just want him to make pretty babies!

Its hard to keep up with everyone. Been gone for awhile on vacation. I know alot of you don't remember what the "V" word is.

My birds are doing great. I have 3 BB Red OEG Bantams that I can't deceide what to do with. I thought about asking for a trade of a Maran pullet for the 3 girls.

I don't want to drive over an hour.
My creles OEGB are looking great. The roos are so beautiful. The pullets are pretty also. I need to pick which boy I want to keep. I don't like having 2 roos in the same pen. One roo can cover the 4 hens that I have. Like I said before , too many decisions.

EEK! My neigbor's boss just got nailed by Game and Fish for having quail without a permit. He told them they were for personal use, but Game and Fish said still gotta have a permit. Apparently a neighbor reported him, sigh.

OK. I really need to get rid of one roo. I'm afraid if I get rid of one, the other might die of something. Then no roo. You will be the first to know. I could always bring them to you on the day of the auction.

Those are neat, and they're Olive Eggers, so that would be cool.

I have one little barred EE, but his Mom was a Barred Rock. He's very cool with his little muffs and beard!

Does anybody close by have a small breed male rabbit for sale fairly cheap or free, good with kids and other rabbits, around a year old or so.

I have one cute white small breed male, very sweet, around a year old. I had another male he lived with but he died not long ago. We got another rabbit but it turned out to be a female and she had babies a few weeks ago but they were born dead and she died the next day. It was so sad. I guess it was an infection...? Don't really know, but our sweet little boy is lonely again. I thought about selling him, but I know I'd miss him. I'd rather have a male so I don't have to deal with the baby bunny thing, because I have no clue about all that stuff.

Thanks. I really am not a rabbit person either and was just planning to sell him at first, but he's so sweet and has the nicest, coat. Very plush and soft. He's irresistable!

Those little quail are so cute, I can't blame you, but I'm so afraid I'd step on one! I'm the kind that can't wait for my chicks to grow up. I like big chickens best, the bigger the better. I have some bantams, but I tip toe around them, lol!

This rabbit talk got me thinking. So I have a rabbit question. I am serious on this. I know most people raise them as pets and what not. But... what is the best breed to raise for eating? I love rabbit, but it is almost impossible to find at a market.
