Arkansas folks speak up.........

I miss the Indian Hills Kroger. We lived right off JFK for about a year before we moved out to the boonies. I knew a girl whos husband was produce manager there and he said everyone called itthe 90210 Kroger and I have to agree. there was also a Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot that used to have 5 dollar pitchers of Margaritas on Wednesday nights.

Welcome barredcountrycoop!

Urban, I'm glad she is moving around more now, sounds promising.

I make my own Kefir from Kefir grains now. I might be able to bring some to the next meetup. My chickens, dogs and kids just love it! The kids eat it with fruit as a smoothie. Haven't made any cheese yet but it's on my to-do list.

That chicken is hopping all over the place. She was real happy when I brought her some left over sanwich from lunch. The funny thing is she never more than a foot from Zoii. I keep catching them side by side. When I went out this evening, I picked Eva up from infront of the coop and put her down on the soft clean bedding on the bottom. The first thing she did was wobble over to where Zoii was sleeping and they cuddle up

Why dosen' t my Kroger have sushi?

That stinks. I want sushi now... Your babies have furry feet Dawn? And you started out with 30 something right? Thats so neat! My father-in-law has agreed to build me a new coop. He is a great carpender and he is doing it for super cheep. The coop is going to be 6ft tall X 5ft wide X 5ft long. And it will have a covered run attached to it that will add another 8 to 10 feet. This way, I will have plenty of room to take care of my chickens and I will be more confinent that they are getting the very best I can give them. With such a bigger coop I may get two more birds and max out my chicken limit. If my mother-in-law permits

I want them to have the best. Eva seemed to be doing fine this morning. I think she was still half way a sleep when I moved her out into the run.

So wait, your chicken limit is 4? That will number will trend upwards fast especially with that bigger coop

Glad Eva's leg is feeling better.

Most of the new Krogers have sushi in them, my favorite store is the newer one in Maumelle. Now I don't know if you guys have noticed but in Little Rock they are remodeling the old stores. From what I was told they are doing all the stores. They just are doing them a couple at a time. Those that are remodeled now have sushi when they did not before. So eventually they will get to the North Little Rock stores and you will have sushi

I will be so happy to run to "the store" and get sushi!

Eva has a vet appiontment tomarrow to make sure she is healing alright. It will be good for both me and her to know exactly what is wrong and what we can do to fix it. I asked for an appiontment in the morning so she would be easy to catch.

My neighboor is a code officer so I better stick to the four bird limit!!!

They remodeled our Kroger here in Benton too....well it's in the process, and we have sushi!!! In fact, I've decided that's for lunch today.

And it's all ya'lls fault! It's a little expensive, but it's fresh.

I have two new layers in my young flock! My EE/Cochin mixes have given me an egg a day since last Friday. Looks like they're going to be good hens. One of them lays a greenish/blue egg and the other lays a pink one.
