I KNOW THAT THIS IS A POULTRY SITE, BUT....

Is anyone, in the northern Arkansas area, interested in buying Chihuahua puppies? I have 5 for sale all with shots, about 12 weeks old, and with CKC papers. 4 females 1 boy. Started potty training. Each are between 1 lb and 3 lbs. My friends husband left her after 17 years and im trying to help her so proceeds will go to helping her get a home.

I need some advice....I live in Stuttgart - which is the duck hunting capital of the world....this will be my first duck season with my ducks. We are out in the country and have two duck clubs very close to us....I have 8 ducks - 1 runner, 1 pekin, 2 muskovy, and 4 mallards (which are the duck hunters duck of choice) The mallards and skovies fly daily around our area.....I am trying to figure out the best way to keep them protected during hunting season. we have a 10 x 10 kennel that is covered, but I don't want to keep them penned that long. If I clip their wings so they can't fly off and become someone's trophey, will the feathers grow back, so that they will be able to fly again? I love watching them circle the yard almost as much as they love stretching their wings....
has anyone else had to deal with this? what is the best option?
Thanks for any advice!

I've never had ducks, but this is my 2¢. I would think that your ducks wouldn't go where the hunters are, but they might. Duck hunters usually use blinds and hunt very early in the morning. Maybe you could keep them up later every day than usual. If you do clip their wings, the feathers will come back after they molt.

If anyone knows of anyone who ended up with an extra BTW Jap hen after the state fair, please let me know. I didn't realize she didn't come home with me til I did a band check the other night. So if you find an extra hen in with your crew, drop me a pm or email. Things were so crazy at coop out time, I guess I just missed getting her in her box and don't know if she was gone before I boxed them, or if I just missed her. I can't believe I've lost her.
