Arkansas folks speak up.........

Thought I would share pics of my son's GP's pups. We're currently taking care of the dog for him (and will be for the foreseeable future). She's a GP (gentle as can be) and the father is what we believe is an Anatolian. One of the pups looks like a GSD (she threw one with her last litter too) and is absolutely adorable.

And here are some other pics ...

Three girls and two boys. We may keep the boys depending on their personalities.

The black pup is a girl, as is the one with the white marks on her face. The two with the darkest backs (upper left corner of third pic & lower right corner) are the boys.

They'll be ready to send to new homes by the 16th. They're still nursing a little, but not much. Momma is starting to get a bit tired of them LOL.

Oh, here's a picture of her! Her name is Snowball.

I'm going to try out Cackle's Golden Laced Polish.

My friend sent me this pic today. She saw them on Face book Caney Ridge, OK. a place called Cherokeebirds in NE Oklahoma .

I don't know anything else about them, but thought it was coincidental that you were talking about them and so was another friend of mine (who doesn't even own chickens).

Hi, Sona! How's it going? When's the next roadtrip?
Well, depends on if someone wants my silkie roo! He and my Houdan are going at it and not letting up. I thought a truce was struck a couple of weeks ago but it was short lived. They have each drawn blood on the other and I am afraid someone (probably the silkie) is really going to get hurt so we have made the decision to locate him a new home. I have got one lead but don't know if the details will work out. If not, I will be contacting the Mafia soon.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you get peace in the flock soon. Fingers crossed, I haven't had any major issues so far.

My biggest concern is that we plan on taking a trip for Spring Break and I have a friend chicken/house sitting and I don't want her to have to breakup fights and doctor the injured. I don'tmind doing the

with the crazy boys but she shouldn't have to.

I have 3 dozen backyard mix hatching eggs ready to go. $10.00 a dozen, $20.00 for shipping and materials.

The mixes are gold laced polish
Gold lace wyandottes
Cochin banties
White leghorns
Rir

Also have 1 dozen olive eggers hatching eggs too, same price.
I take paypal
I also have some for eating, $2.00 a dozen

I finally got my chickens and even better they were free!! The only this is I had to take the rooster and I had not planned on having one. I have no experience with roosters at all my family always just kept hens. The person I got them from said to never turn my back on him! Does this mean he is mean and is there any way to show him I don't want to hurt him??
