Lol I'm happy with my nz and I think our wires got a little crossed I was talking about chickens sizzle and fizzles are special breeds of chickens and Beebe is about a hr and 20min from me

I drive from about an hour away. I'm just outside LR.

I'm probably 15 minutes away, although I'll still drive from sherwood that still isn't very far!

I'm planning on driving about an hour and a half to a poultry show to see what is available. I wouldn't be upset if there's nothing I want there just because I enjoy visiting with other eccentric chicken people like me. It gives me an opportunity to talk chicken to people who actually want to talk about it, not like other friends who just listen to be polite and try to change the subject. I do the same thing at dog shows, though we don't sell dogs at dog shows. Dog World is WAY different than Chicken World.

A few weeks ago, I drove about an hour to buy two Polish hens. I took my older daughter (3 years old), one of my friends who also has chickens, and my mom. We are all chicken people. Anywho, they didn't purchase, but it was a fun road trip to visit, eat at a restaurant we don't have in our town, etc.

I can't speak for any one else traveling to look/purchase fowl, but this is my experience, and none of my chickens are for show. I'm just addicted.

I take my wife and kids to Branson & Springfield often and I have decided to do some stock shopping while I'm up there I noticed lots of poultry including pigeons on the Springfield craigslist.

I have a friend that goes that way all the time and if I see someone say there going to be there on Arkansas poultry and live stock a group on Facebook I contact them and ask her to pick up what I want I personally have never been I have a bad critter collecting habit so if I went I'd buy way to much
