What kind of quail do you plan on getting. I know there is a guy in Clinton with Pharaoh and Bobs. Pharaoh are the same as Coturnix which I'm interested in. I have read Bob's are more difficult plus I think they pair up whereas with Pharaohs the males can service more females! 

I know Elias and I'm hoping to make a trade with him for some coturnix quail

sounds like a good idea if you don't have an incubator ive got three gqf 1588s that are almost always full so I'm gonna get another one soon a friend gave me two old models that didn't work so I just had to buy the top part of 1588 from the gqf web site so I saved a lot of money.

Ozark, I was going to avoid the issue of an incubator by getting quail =) the only animal I plan on having that won't incubate their young is the quail. I can't believe you know who I was talking about, such a small world!

March would actually be great for me if you had any extras, it would give me time to set up! I could also get one of RayRays rabbits

yes it is I used to live in Clinton still have family there it is hard to find serious breeders close to me Check out his Facebook page he is always posting some interesting stuff.

I haven't met ray ray yet but I hope too since I travel to batesville at least once a month and I hope to someday get some meat rabbits.

@Ozark, I didn't realize that he was a BYC member. I googled him and he came up on here =) small world! Anyway he hasn't been active on here for five months =/ but he does have some nice looking quail from looking on his website from his member profile, his facebook is set to private.

@Ozark, I know a guy in Beebe selling meat rabbits since RayRay hasn't gotten his breeding yet. I plan to buy from him and someone in conway to ensure against inbreeding.

yes that sounds like a good plan good luck everyone that I've talked say there is no money in raising rabbits but I'm not doing it to make money.
