Kinda sortof.
I think the crests are cool looking. They aren't (the crests) as big as Polish but neat. The hens look like they have little perms.
I talk with you and your wife after the seminar Sat. the 12th. I looked over your Houdan crosses you had there. Yours looked nice.

a big welcome to the Arkansas thread to all the newbies!

Hey! I made a nice 8x11 flyer for our local feed stores. It has the BYC and Meetup logos and the links to each site/thread including the BYC Arkansas swap thread. I also included my name and phone number at the bottom. If anyone wants a copy PM me and I will attach it. You only need to change the phone number and name. Let's help others find our threads! It starts with......

What? No Crested, Naked Neck Easter Eggers?

Here is a thought. Cross a true Araucana with a Houdan and create a crested Blue egg layer! maybe if Elias would cross an Arkansas Blue egg layer with his Mottled Houdans. That would create a Mottled Crested Blue Egg layer!

I am so excited! My male Royal Palm turkey is showing off to his Royal Palm hen. Hoping for eggs soon, it would be great if they were fertilized as werll.

Guess what! That is next. I saved 3 Naked Neck Hens and they are now in with my Easter Egger Rooster. Those babies when old enough will go to the Crested EE rooster.

I sold off all my Naked Necks today except for two April or May hens that I hatched. Then I had an unusual colored one that hatched out this past November that is Naked Neck rooster out of a Brown Leghorn hen.

Now that that is out of the way, see the Arkansas Swap Thread for my wants.
