Here's one of the entries from the El Dorado Show. There were about 500 chickens there. Some classes had a lot that were the same breed, but I think there was a good variety. We had a great time.

I wish I could have gone.

My husband bought me a GQF incubator - now I just have to find eggs.

Does anyone close to Hot Springs have an extra mature bantam cochin roo? I have a young blue one but need one that can take care of the girls now

Hey, Amanda,
I'd like to see those Serama chicks. I bet they are tiny. We came home with two OEG Bantam hens. A guy gave them to my boy. They are so little, they make my little banty cochin hen seem big. They rode on Noah's lap all the way from El Dorado.

Good luck with your hatching!

I will get some pics.
OEG Bantams can be very sweet, I have a few of them. I have one tiny hen that thinks she is 10 feet tall

We call her Little Ole Biddy

- She always tries to whip up on the bigger hens.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the show! Maybe we can meet up at the next one.

Do you know if the man who gave you the oegb hens was from Monroe? I've heard of someone there who raises and shows oegb and I have been trying to get in touch with him for months.

I'm sorry, I can't remember his name. Maybe De (That's her screen name.) knows him. She got the rest of the pullets he had.

The little Serama are so cute!
