Arkansas folks speak up.........

They're doing great.  Getting about 1/2 the hens laying every other day, so I'm getting 26 to 28 eggs every 21days.  How's it going with you?

Doing we'll. I am setting some U of A eggs on the 18th. I've never hatched this time of year so I hope I don't bake any babies. :-)

I need some advice... is this a rooster or hen? He/she is currently about 6-7 mos. Old and isn't crowing or laying eggs so I just don't know.

Hard to tell yet. Doesn't have the fancy tailfeathers yet but the feathers around the neck kind of look pointy like a rooster, but I'm not that experienced.

For people in the Fayetteville area: I have two Blue Laced Red Wyandotte bantam pullets for sale. They are almost 4 months old. $10 each! Pm me.

I would have posted in the classifieds but it won't let me (I don't have enough posts I think).

We JUST had our first egg this morning! So exciting. We have 9 girls. 6 Golden Sex Links. Lorene is the GSL who layed we are assuming. Her pelvic bones are spread and she's been very loud the last few days. The rest are the same age, 16-17 weeks, except for our two EE and 1 Salmon Faverolle who are a week or two behind. They've all been on grower feed and I'm out now. Should I switch to layer feed now? Thanks guys!
