[Unexpected chicken lover]

I have a question for my fellow arkansans....at what age do u consider chicks old enough to make it outside without a heat lamp? Mine are 3-4 weeks old and they would of course be separated from the flock in their own pen protected from the elements. Im just nervous

I always wait until 12 weeks, but I make sure they are inside a 6 foot covered pen. I do not let them free range outside the enclosure until 6 months old.

We put them out in the brooder coops with two heat lamps, 3 hens, lots of straw and shavings, and covered it with a tarp. If we lose any tonight, i will be bringing them unto town in the three hundred gallon totes. This is because there are 74 of them and my cousin diesnt have room un her house and shes tired of the smell but ive invested too much love, not to mention money into these babies. Anyone have Easter Egger chicks or pullets available in NEA? I would rather buy local than have them shipped. Not picky about the breed, just want healthy birds that will lay blue eggs

   My local pond is home to a variety of wild geese and ducks. However, their islands have been shrinking so this year they have been forced to nest on the banks. My fear came true today as i found 3 geese eggs by a broken one....stupid kids, and one, i am guessing, woodduck egg in a nest of stomped shells and yolk.
   I guess my question is...do I incubate them? In 3 days i go on lockdown for my chicken eggs. Will the high humidity hurt them?
   Just angry at the kids in my town and wondering if its possible to help

Anyone know of rescue centers/ rehabilitation centers in NE Arkansas?
