No, not bantam. They're standard size. They're developing the standards from the bantams though, so one of them is on the small size. If you're talking about De, I mentioned them to her after I saw her females, but my middle daughter (& chicken partner, lol!) Jill doesn't want me to sell either one, and I can see her point, because what if something happened to the one I kept? I told De I'd like to buy her females though if she ever decided to sell them.

Here are some quick pics...not very good, but I'll get better ones later. I got these from John Blehm. I also have 6 Black/Lavender split chicks from his eggs, and 3 split pullets I hatched a few months back from Jean's (pips&peeps) eggs. I can't wait to get chicks, but it will be next Spring before the pullets are old enough.

I guess I have a Lavender obcession like you! Lavender and Red Pyle!

ooh...those are soo pretty. I love the blue birds myself. I have one solid blue ee/cochin mix and another polish/ee blue splash. I told my DH that I would love to have some blue orps, but he loves our buff orps and doesn't want me to cash them in for blue.

Yes De, I'm sure we can figure it out. I don't know if they're fertile just yet. Not sure about their exact age. I need to ask him. He also had a pair of bantam Lavenders for sale at the time, but someone else had inquired about them about the same time I did, so they're probably sold by now. Wish I'd have known you were looking, we might could have gotten him to ship one more with them and saved on shipping. The shipping knocked me on my butt! It must have gone up since last time. It was about $30 more than my last shipment of two birds.

well, what with all this going on with my DH I didn't get over to pick up that feed, and the bank came in and locked up the building, so unless the bank will sell it to me, I missed out on the feed.
