Dawn - I know just the place for your cheese supplies! It's in North Little Rock, called Fermentables. Website is www.fermentables.com phone # is (501) 758-6261. It is over by Camp Robinson on a side street off MacArthur Dr. They have all kinds of cheese stuff in there as well as beer and wine making supplies. Nice folks too. You may way to call before you drive over there, they sell through stuff pretty quick, but always have new stuff on order to keep the fresh stuff in stock. Good luck with your cheese!

Jarhead I was going to post the same thing till I saw your post. That's where my DH gets all his wine making supplies, and I noticed the cheese making stuff a while back. Also hydroponic systems the last few times I was up there. Its a great place to go and look. Also, I think the citric acid you can sometimes find with the canning supplies because you can use it with fruit canning and dehydration.

By the way, for any interested. DH is stinted and home, doing well. He had a long eighty percent blockage in the LAD coronary artery. Everything else looks good. Now if only he will behave himself for his recovery period, we should get along.

Thanks for the info guys! You would think wal mart or kroger would carry these things! I spent a hour on the phone today spelling things to people - Rennet, R-E-N-N-E-T sometimes called Junket, J-U-N-K-E-T. Then holding for 10 minutes while they go check out the store. Explaining where they may be didn't help either.

Walmart and Kroger don't want you to make cheese. They want you to BUY cheese. They make more $ that way.

My hen just hatched out 8 chicks. Soooo cute. I love the fuzzy things. These chicks are OEGB Crele. I will keep them at least until spring. I have another batch under a hen right now. There not due for 19 days.

Congrats on the chicks. I had 4 eggs from Amanda's Cochins under my Silkie. They all had chicks in them. Today my BR hen broke two more of them.

She had broken one early on. So... I just put the last two in my incubator. They're due to hatch next Sat.

I've seen Junket by the icecream area also. Its usually on the top in a white box. Good luck.
