Alcoa Road about noon when I was delivering a pizza.

The boss called it quits shortly after that, so Benton Papa John's is closed.
Hawk doesn't care for snow much. Dusti doesn't mind because she has so much fur she doesn't even feel it!
The chickens are huddling under the porch, where there is an absence of the wet white stuff.

I think we're done for Saturday too. LOL if you deliver another pizza this way, you might notice my little miata at the bottom of he driveway. Couldn't get it up the hill-drive. MY DH was sooo mad at me. I decided that if all these other people could drive out there no problem, then I needed to run to the store.

The ice was great for getting me out of work, but it was hell getting to Walmart and back! The roads are aweful and my Honda isn't built for ice. I just got in from the chickens: all four huddled up in the coop. I hope they are warm. I gave them some left over fired taters this morning. They liked it better than oatmeal! Hope everyone eles and thier birds stay safe and warm during this bad weather!

I know my cats are hating the weather. They go in and out at will, but they have been staying out since we got Hawk. He's actually afraid of cats, but he expresses the fact by barking at them - so they won't come in the house since he's around. They were huddled up next to the house (out of the snow) when I got home, glaring icepicks at me - I assume blaming me for getting the "mean" dog

I just made sure to put out some kibble and liquid water to help them keep warm.

It's their sorry butts that refuse to come inside. DH and I both have encouraged them to come in. They get to the threshold and decide not to come in.
I mean, we have a cat tree and they often hide in the closets, they don't have to be on the floor with the dogs

Here is a pic dh took yesterday during the snow of our house. Looks like we will be staying in for a while.

Wow Cotter! Your's is different from ours. We have a dusting of snow on top of sleet. Next time I go out to check for eggs, I'll try to grab a pic.

All the kids are happy, they've had warmed mushroomed greenbeans from last night's dinner and some frozen veggies that I needed to take out of the freezer and warmed. No waste here!
