We have Chocolate Muscovy duck eggs pipped! Will soon have one very confused and upset cochin bantam setting hen! Can't wait until her new "chicks" start swimming! She will go nuts! In about a week the real mom will hatch her nest and we will combine all duckings with the mom. Meanwhile, will enjoy watching the cochin bantam hen WARN her babies about drowning!

We have a four hole rabbit cage out front, under the shade tree. we display our sale birds in this cage with a nice For Sale sign. We have sold many this way. Currently we only have birds in two of the four cages.

Jacob (7) just watered ALL four cages! I was watching from the kitchen window. Jacob filled the milk jugs waterers in two empty cages. Well at least the two cages with birds have water! Kids really do the darndest things!

Prior to this, he filled the flower waterer to carry water to the sale birds; turned the hose valve off; walked over to turn the faucet off; dropped the hose, it hit itself, turning the hose valve back on.....It was pointing at Jacob! He was soaked! It is never boring with a 7 year old clown around!

I live in the Bauxite/Sardis area. Due to financial strains we are going to have to see our chickens. We have Cuckoo marans 1 rooster and 3 hens, Buff Orphington 1 rooster and 1 hen, Phoenix 1 rooster and 1 hen and a chick, 4 silkie hens and 1 showgirl hen, samantra rooster, 1 hen americana full size and a hen americana bantam and I have several mutts. I will take $10 each of pure breed. I can't think of what else I have but if you are interested email me at [email protected]

I thought I would try here first before we take them to the auction the 3rd Saturday.
