Benton...that is not that far. They said maybe late this afternoon it would start. I like for it to snow when I am not working. My DH is already working at ANO but I have not had my callout yet....so bring on the snow.

Good news. Its snowing good here.

Bad news. The baby is having a reaction to eggs. She has had a reaction in the past, but we didn't know what it was from. This morning I gave her scrambled eggs. Now she is beet red and broken out in hives. Shes getting better by the minute. I think we got lucky, no trip to the ER. This town can't handle the snow and the roads will be bad.

They seem to have updated the weather report for central AR. Calling for 2-4" today in the daytime, and 100% chance of up to 3 ADDITIONAL inches overnight. LOL Plus the temp has actually dropped a degree, so I expect it to say all snow - which is good! I'm sure you'll get your share

Hi mom2to, welcome to the Arkansas thread! Glad you made it here. Sorry your post seems to have gotten overlooked. It slows down around here this time of year. There is a spring show in Pine Bluff and El Dorado. and a November show in Fayetteville. And the state fair in Little Rock is an APA sanctioned show. I'm in south east Arkansas, so not sure about any other shows up your way, But we have some good resources. A lot depends on how far you are willing to travel.

Go here http://www.exhibitionpoultry.net/ and you can download Exhibition Poultry magazine, a wonderful resource on shows. Towards the back there are always listings of upcoming shows.

Ann Charles is our APA state representative and also editor and publisher of the magazine, here email and address are on the site and she is also a wonderful resource.

Thank you! The kids wanted to show some of the flock and I didn't know where to start. I will contact Ann.

plumtuckered....where are you located?

we finally have snowflakes.....really light but getting heavier!

thanks for all the pushes!!!

AND for the beautiful pictures!
