Arkansas folks speak up.........

Hi, everyone!

I live in northwest AR near Fort Smith. Dr. Bramwell has told me he would give me some hatching eggs.

I am now looking for someone with an incubator. I plan on buying one soon but hate to trust his eggs to a first time hatch.

Is there anyone in this area that I could pay to hatch for me?

Thanks!

Crystal

How many eggs are you talking about?

I'm not sure. I figure no more than 4 dozen. I haven't finalized anything because I have a couple of families that want some. He has some fantastic birds. I can send you his pamphlet if you send me your e-mail address. You might want some.

Buy a Genesis by Hovabator. https://www.gqfmfg.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=77

Plug it in and add water to one corner tray in the bottom. In 18 days remove the turner. In 21 days you remove the chicks. Its that simple. Ours even hatched some of Dr. Bramwell's eggs!

Plus, you get to see them hatch!

Just have the incubator running for about 24 hours before you add the eggs.

NPIP inspection done!

Now back to building coops!

I have more than enough help today!

Kids are out of school all day!

P.S. NPIP inspection went better and easier with plenty of help catching chickens!

Hello! I'm new to the forums, but have been reading and lurking for several weeks. Just found this thread today, and I'm excited to see so many people from AR. We're about 10 miles south of Fort Smith, and this is our second year with a chicken flock. Looking forward to getting to know some other chicken people here in AR.
