I took the camera and wandered around the farm today after the rain stopped.

Broad Breasted and Standard Bronze Turkeys. This is Thanksgiving dinner.

Jumbo Coturnix Quail

The only golden.

The older Guineas.

The newest guineas.

Silver Appleyard Ducks. Green heads are males.

Embden and Giant Dewlap Toulouse Geese

The embdens are Christmas Dinner.

That Quail looks male to me.

Out of the 9 in that pen that one is the only one I think is a male. I don't know how to tell on the golden one.

That would be a male quail, the males have a buff/salmon colored chest while the females would have a spotted chest, same thing with the goldens, and by the looks of it that golden is a female

Love the ducks! I've been debating whether or not I want Appleyards...I still haven't decided. My husband wants wood ducks, go figure.
