Walls of text just stink imo. Makes me not want to even read it which also stinks because it might actually be a great read. Personal preference.

Think of a paragraph as a point where you would take a breath. Its not breaking up thoughts its like a comma. In my case my vision isn't as it should be and having a break of some sort allows me to back track a bit to make sure I read the sentience.
One of my bad habits is using Ellipses instead of commas. I happen to like them but I know it drives some English majors crazy... LOL. I use them while in conversation with people not in my own writing.

the only problem i see when you leave a comment on an article and it is correcting or asking a question you often upset the author. The author then flags it and it gets deleted. THEN the incorrect information is STILL there.

I think that every author should have an "identity card" that will contain his experience in raising chickens , and any other relvant info. In this way the reader could know that the author isn't just random person that decided to write something out of the blue.Oh yeah no I know, sorry, I wasn't saying to do away with the star ratings completely or that someone's wrong for only leaving them, just that for me personally, they don't serve much purpose. I would rather know why they gave the rating they did and what I did wrong so I can fix it for next time, you know? Or so I could help my flock by not using misinformation etc.
