Artist Galore! Share you drawings, discuss techniques, digital art!

I like colored pencil, then going back with a little lighter fluid to blend it in...... Like water color too. Oils and acrylics is the love hate...I have to really be in the mood and walk away if I get to intense.

I do best with graphite pencils, I can do okay with colored pencils. I want to try charcoal!

Here are some of my drawings-

Those were done digitally.

I have a few different techniques I use regularly.

-Graphite pencils
-Prismacolor pencils on black paper.
-Prismamarkers on white paper.
-Digital (I use OpenCanvas 4.5 plus with a Wacom Intuos 4)

I have yet to figure out how to get a decent print from traditional media, while I can reliably get prints from digital on heavy cardstock for $1.50 a piece (8.5x11inches)

I like watercolor, but I never had the patience to prep the paper properly, so I never do it. Acrylics are nice, but I don't like the setup/cleanup. I sometimes draw only 15 minutes at a time, because of the kids and such... with paints it's hard to drop what you're doing :/

In college I really enjoyed sculpting, but again, it's just so messy. Between pets and small children I'd be too worried about them getting into it.

Did not like charcoal. So messy.

I am a very messy person to begin with. I was always smudging my work haha. Digital is ideal for that reason, but it does put strain on my fingers, wrist and elbow...

Here's some old work I did in high school and college ('99-'02 or so)

I want to do some pet/kid portraits.. All my stuff is so confined to the anthromorphic niche, I can't always share it with a larger audience.

You made the texture of your drawings so real.

I'd already posted this in another thread since I didn't see this one first. This is a drawing of my sister I've done in charcoal and white pencil. I think the expression is a bit too dark for my liking ;) ; but, even so, it is still thought provoking.

I love everyone's drawings, they are fantastic! I also really love the computer work. I've always thought of trying it but never got a round-to-it I suppose. :/
