Sinoke and her herd were grazing when suddenly she saw someone.

Dice perked her head up and looked in the direction the head mare was.

Star was galloping across the plains just for the fun of it. She tossed her head and leapt over a rock. Her sides heaving she looked around for someone to play with.

Sinoke saw Star from The Swamps and ran over to her. "Hello."

"Hello! All of these curmudgeons just want to eat. Wanna play with me?" Star said, completely oblivious to normal horse greetings, and rank.

"Sure!" Sinoke said feeling like a filly again as she took off running and bucking.

Star chased after her, trying to playfully bite her hocks. She leapt over rocks, and ducked under logs, trying to catch up with Sinoke.

Sinoke stopped and saw something short and grey dart from tree to tree. Then she saw more. "Are those... WOLVES!!!" She screamed and turned.
