I'm surprised that I managed to get a negative score on visual memory, by intentionally picking the wrong squares instead of leaving it blank.

That does happen. It is based on the use it or lose it principle.

Full disclosure, I destroyed my memory back in the 1980s by taking Triaminicin 12 hour allergy pills every 3 to 4 hours.

It's odd how the composite score is calculated on that test
I would agree that it skews low. I wish there was some kind of technical manual detailing the psychometric properties of it, but it's an online test and it isn't normed by age, so it's automatically questionable, LOL.
