So I'm trying to find out some numbers on chickens and egg laying. If a pullet lays it's first egg at 18-20 weeks, at what age do they start laying regularly? Would an 18 week old who has laid it's first egg lay another the next day? I would think not but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it really depends on the individual chicken... one of my EEs has been laying consistently since she started (not daily but definitely 5-6 a week) whereas my FBCM started, then stopped for a while, then maybe 2 eggs, stopped, and only now picked back up again.

Perfect examples here!!^^^
