At what age will a Sex-link start laying ?

Mine are 20 weeks. Friday I, just put in some laying boxes, but they also had a dog crate if they wanted to use that. Of course I also just started them on laying pellets last week.... What are they waiting on?

I have 4 red sex links and one rir. They are about 16 weeks and so far two are laying though only three eggs between the two in the past week. All three eggs were double yokers.... hoping the volume picks up this week.

i have 6 golden comets and 6 red sex-links and have found 6 eggs so far this week they are 15 weeks old

Of the 4 I've had every single one of them started laying the day they turned 20 weeks.

All of them are egg laying machines and I got regular double yolkers from the Isa Brown.

I have 8 Black Sex Links that are roughly 16 - 17 weeks old and they haven't started laying yet.
