I was a complete and utter nobody that earned my oats and paid my dues the hard way. And only you can imagine an Appaloosa kicking all the fancy Warmblood’s butts in Dressage up and down the whole Eastern Seaboard. He also ran barrels, could jump well over 4 ft, did eventing, survived a bowel resection. He was quite a horse out of many diamonds in the rough I found. Someone sold him in a divorce. I found him w his head tied to his stirrup in submission for western pleasure. He was “way more talented than that.” Trotted across that pasture like pegasus. That’s the trot that made the new owners that bought him from us, change his name from Sun Prince (palomino Appaloosa) to Spectacular Edition. I got into endurance or trail after that and never looked back. I’m more of a groom type, ruffian chick that lives w a turkey.
