Pics
All 4 Marans that made it to lockdown are externally pipped! It's looking pretty dry in there though so I'm watching closely...:fl

Im quite happy as it appears i have 5 hens out of the 6

Lucky you hatching all those pullets! I love the lavenders!

Um, im a bit nervous, I've got 39 eggs in my little giant 4250 model, and I just walked into my hatching room, and the thing was unplugged, im not sure for how long, but when I plugged it back in it was at room temp and at 92% humidity, there is no way that these eggs are gonna survive that, they've been in there for 4 days now, they're too young for that kind of spike, right? And please, don't be afraid to speak your mind, the truth hurts sometimes, but its still the truth.
There's always a chance! My last hatch my temp spiked to 118 for I don't even know how long. Could have been minutes could have been an hour, and all 4 eggs hatched perfectly.

Day 13. I kept my one questionable egg in and turns out... There's movement inside of it. We'll see what happens when they hatch next week. This is SUPPOSED to be my last hatch of the year..... But I really want to get some Delaware eggs from dawnridge :drool
I have had so many hatches where I said this is my last hatch of the year/season etc... and I can't stop! so I started selling chickens when they start laying and eating the males. only keeping those I intend to breed.
