August Hatch-A-Long

Pics
Here they are all walking, drinking, eating, pooping. I’m counting 3 chicks 2 blue and 1 black French Copper Marans the black one wasn’t my malpositioned saddle cell assist. I can truly relax now and having a glass of wine on Sunday afternoon while I watch the 4 1/2 weeks CCL pair and Olive Egger play in sun. I’ll be back for integration support soon View attachment 1881497:wee:love:ya

Wow! Such adorable little cuties!!! Love the blue with the black!

I was supposed to be done hatching, but... I set 22 more eggs today! Labor Day weekend hatches. Will keep checking in here to see how everyone’s August hatches are going. We have acquired 4 new to us coops over the last couple of weeks. Haven’t had much time online between the chicks and rehabbing the coops. Hope to have more time soon!!!
So jealous!! I'm grounded for the rest of this year after these hatch

I still have 7 more day's to wait for my hatch of the shipped egg's. I started out with 25, but I'm down to 10 good one's now. Some had blood ring's, and some were early quitter's. A couple never started development. I hope that these remaining 10 all make it to hatch. They seemed pretty active in movement in there when I candled them last night.

Not much to report today. No internal pips as of this morning. Day 19, boring lol.
Spent the morning bringing one of my June 1 ducklings to a new home as she doesn't meet SOP. hopefully a nap now as I'm officially getting old and being up late with George Strait kicked my butt :caf:gig
Day 19 is the WORST.

IM grounding myself. I said at weekend never again during hatching and now they’re safely here I want To do it again, again. We’ve decided in spring to add a few more as our garden is enormous and can take more plus than coop is big enough. Is this like, an actual addiction :barnie
