I put 5 in 1 is out 1 is about hatched 3 or pipped and 1 just recently internally pipped....hope they don't let me down I'm counting on them now

I have had 5 out of 7 eggs hatch in my brinsea mini advance incubator, the other 2 are still in the incubator but havent pipped yet

they are so cute!!
also they are light sussex off my own breeding hens

such cute little yellow fluffies. I never get yellow one like that. They look like little powder puffs.

I know what normal is, this was amber syrup

Amber syrup is a sign humidity had gotten too high.

It's day 19 here. I'm up every 20 minutes looking into the bator. Good thing it's a table top cabinet and I can see everything inside!!! I thought I saw a little rocking in one of the eggs. Still had good movement in most of them when I candled at lock down. I can't wait I can't wait.... Hurry up chickers!

My lockdown is suppose to be Wednesday. The temp inside the bator has been steady at 102 throughout. In the past my chicks hatch early. Should I move up my lockdown?

My hatch is going horrible. They were eggs I found in my barred cochin bantam pen. (These ggs usually hatch like popcorn.) maybe they just got way to hot out there. ) cochin have hatched out of 2 1/2 dozen) Should have hatched Sat. or Sun. Maybe just to old or cook before I picked them up...
Got 2 Brown leghorns and one EE splash blue ameraucana /Blue Andalusian The chick is adorable I think it is a splash.
In 24 hours I'll do a egg topsy.
Oh well on to next hatch silver penciled plymouth rocks locally bought

This is just my second hatch. But I locked mine down a day early because my temps ran a little closer to 100º than 99.5º. My first hatch, the temps did the same thing and I had two hatch on days 18 and 19. So I thought since these could come a little early due to the slightly higher temp, that I would lock them down and give them a little extra humidity a little earlier.

7 chicks! Within 40 minutes of each other! 4 more have piped and are thinking about zipping. Still waiting on 4 to begin.
