sounds like a rough day am sorry, your eggs will probably be okay as long as the chick didn't lose too much blood, all you can do is wait I know it's stressful !!

This is a the mystery chick that hatched 2 weeks ago. Her wings are so cute and sooo big. They are so much bigger than she is. I'm still wondering what she is. I forgot what you guys thought she was. Possibilities are Sebright, Serama, D'uccle, Cochin, Frizzle, Silkie. Obviously not silkie. But could be a mix of any of these. Her wings actually are larger than they appear in the pictures. Maybe a frizzle Serama? She is still very tiny.

My little angel passed...it lived 4 days but it was a struggle...all the others are thriving

I went out to check on my broddy's since today is day 19.... happy to report I saw 1 little guy... dry and puffy. So darn cute. I also just bought a 6 month old lavender roo and 2-2 week old frizzle cochin (1 white & 1 black). Yay meeee!

Ok I can not breathe!! After my first hatch I went outside to check on my coop chickens and I heard my daughter scream, our kitten accidentally pulled the bator down in the floor and our chick and 2 unhatched eggs were on the floor, one was bleeding bad, the other just badly cracked all over. I immediately got the chick and put her in the ready brooder/aquarium. And then put the badly cracked egg back in the bator. After I got the mess cleaned up I went back and checked the egg. I found a tiny hole in outer membrane and could see it was drying inside so I spritz it with water and my DH helped me make our best attempt on sealing it up with candle wax. It was moving inside and is now back in the bator with good temps and humidity. My little hatchling is snuggling a panda beenie baby and is quite chirpy. I held her in a towel against me to finish drying her. I cannot believe all of this happened. And to ice my cake our dog got my sweet love EE Roo chick (9weeks old) today. I have cried half the day away,

Awwwwwww...so sad. At least your little first hatched chick is ok, right? Poor Rooster, I would have been adding my kitten and dog to Craigslist after that- I hope your other chick is alright... :'(

sabotaged and grief stricken!! Hopeful tomorrow is better!! Yes my little hatcher is doing good snuggling a panda bear, she peeps at me a lot and I have held her a few times, she loves to be held!!

Awwww..she sounds so sweet, I hope your other egg hatches so she has a buddy hatch

Both babies I hatched this morning are running around the brooder with the others! 15 out of 15. And 2 of the 3 chicken eggs who made it to lockdown are shaking! After a whole year of hatching with no babies at the end....
