August Hatch-A-Long!

I didn't open it until day 21 and a few hours. I used a syringe to fill the water but I can't get it to stay over 64% Humidity. The heat keeps going down by 1 degree. So frustrating!!!
I did just open it now and candled some of the eggs. I took one out that I thought looked the worst. I opened the egg and it looked like it stopped maybe around day 15.
It is day 22 1/2 right now.
I is still early.I have had day 25 hatches..........

400
. The gaping hole is what I covered with wax to seal it after the incident with the kitten knocking over the bator!! And by the grace of GOD my sweet little baby is peeping at me ad has pipped through the inner membrane and cracked through, she is resting for her grand entrance!! I am so excited and feeling so blessed!! My tiny loner may have a sibling soon!! I am watching like loon and spritzing the membrane as it turns whitish. Is there anything else I should be doing for my special needs baby? Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts.

Its SOOOOO much easier letting the hen do this

Cheap sponges! I chop sponges in half and place them inside the bator near vent holes, then i can easily wet them thru the hole. The sponges make it easy to get the higher humidity needed during lockdown.

All nine of the embryos are dead-stupid incubator! It was at 99 yesterday. I added some water, the light is supposed to turn off if any higher than registered temp. But nooooo.... It was on this morning, temp was 111, and all embryos dead.
I shall shun that incubator and it's company for the rest of my life!

Well cos the chicks did not go as planed I have just bought a 14 week old buff orp pullet called jazzabelle or jazzie for short
