August Hatch-A-Long!

Sat afternoon 2 more hatched 3 pips still one sitting most of the day hummm Had a star crack in one lav Am but they rolled it around now cant see which of 2 it is Hasnt done anything.Actually think my Lav Os havent hatched as they have cheek tufts so think 2 of 3 lavenders are EEs. Darn! LOs are sold and only one hatched .dang i have such problems with them.
Ill do pics once they are all out .Sometimes my Lav Orps hatch late

Yeah can wait to see pics :0) I can't wait to see if mine hatch they are a mix from 2 different farms so its a big surprise as to what will come out :0) nervous and excited!!!! Congrats on your babies

I have a frizzle rooster and a wine dot so I was pretty excited when it was a frizzle not wine dot

Just locked down my 7 cochin bantam eggs....all are doing great at this point!!! Now the stress really begins!!!

Any tips on increasing hatchability? For some reason I can never get more than 75% to hatch.

Its day 8 for the shipped eggs that got all smashed up. I just did a quick candling of a few and the entire egg looks yellow inside and I see bubbles :/ Thinking they are truly scrambled inside. So far I can not see any veining except in one that looks like a blood ring with black floating blobs in the bottom of the egg. I knew it would be a miracle if any made it, but now I am just wondering how long till I feel safe throwing them out, without waiting too long and having them explode on the good eggs... sigh.
