August Hatch-A-Long!

Just going into day 21 now.....have 3 pips out of 4 so hopefully my little dudes are right on schedule. The first pip was 12 hours ago and it has has only defined the pip a little more since then.

UPDATE 4 th egg just pipped......praying my babies make it out safe

Some of my second batch Crele Polish pipped yesterday evening. Hope they hatch today, can`t wait to see my little ones.

I am still the same, 7 went to lock down, 1 is out, 5 pips and 1 no go.....but today is day 20

Day 20 and I have a 1/10 pip! Sooo excited! He's chirpin away and eager to come out! My humidity went up to 68%. I think bc it rained hard this morning. Hope it goes back down some as the day progresses.

Did a quick candle on the eggs in the goat-disturbed nest. I think they're gonners, but I'll give them through the weekend :-(

As they pip and start hatching, your humidity will rise. 68% is not a bad humidity for hatching!!! They need that moisture to get out of the membrane and crack the shell!

gen9 she had her little toes curled under...that is a tiny end of a popsicle stick and the tape off a Band-Aid...they're still crooked but she's not walking on them anymore.... perching help her a lot too

oh I so happy for you!! don't worry about humidity it's a little high but not too high!!
