I've had babies that were set the same day hatch over 3 days so I agree unless you are really confident....I would candle and see if there is movement...and sniff them lol

Lol. I don't trust my candling quiet yet. So maybe waiting a couple of days will be a safer choice.

Oh no! one egg that's trying to hatch is getting pecked on my the others that are almost completely dry. Do I take them out and place in the brooder?

I am always afraid to open the bater. I have heard too many horro stories about the lil guys getting shrink wrapped.

I would! but it won't hurt to leave them in either! how many now?

They are local pick up eggs. And my first hatch. I hope tomorrow to see more bearded babies. Thanks for the reassurance.

Well, I put another batch in the incubator yesterday. 31 of my own EE eggs. My 3 week old marans and RIR's are doing good.
