So far she is doing well. We are helping her to find the food and water dishes along with supplimenting by hand feeding. She will find one of the other chicks in the brooder and put her head on their back so she can follow them around. Other than not having eyes, she appears quite healthy and strong. If she makes it, we plan on putting her in with our Silkies![]()
Carolina, I had a rooster who was born like that.
He very quickly learned where the food and water was, as long as we didn't move it. We did keep him in his own coop with a couple of gentle hens as companions. He never had a problem with his disability, lived a long happy life. Good luck with your Polish peep!
