August Hatch-A-Long!

Today is day 24 and 4 hours. None of my eggs hatched.
Out of the 12 I ordered, 1 was infertile, I broke one before I even put it in the bator, 3 looked like they died at day 11, 1 looked like it died at day 14 and the last 6 looks like they made it until day 17 or 18.
A very sad day for me.
I would like to try again but this took soo much out of me. I think I may just order day old chicks and later down the road try to hatch some of my own.
Glad to hear everyone is having better success than I.

So sorry to hear. It can take a lot out of you. And I have felt the same way.

Opened up another 2 eggs. look like pics of embryos at Day 18-20. No heart beat at all.One's intestines not inside. What could have happened? On day just about 23 with 22 left in incubator.

Thanks for everyone's help and thoughts. I'm in Norwich, VT. Right on the NH border.
You would think there would be more people here (VT) selling eggs but I don't see any advertised. At least not Orpington or Cochin eggs.

I can Relate completely. 96 eggs in Day 23 1 hatch
