No, I am pretty sure it's dad is my Welsummer as the Crested Polish rooster's chicks seem to always have a Mohawk. Any one of my hens could be it's mother, probably excepting my Cornish cross hen. I think she would throw yellow chicks or yellow chicks with black spots. Otherwise I have a red production, 3 EE's and a black hen that we thought was an Australorp but I don't think so now. I think any of these 5 could be it's mother.
Yeah, I know. One of the now older chicks got picked on by one of the hatchlings born before them. Same chick picking on the same chick. Every time I put the younger ones in with the older ones. It was like the older chick could recognize this chick or the smell of this particular chick. I had to keep them separate.
