The 2nd annual Austin Funky Chicken Coop Tour will be on April 3, 2010.
Last years tour was an egg-ceptional success with over 1,000 visitors viewing coops all over Austin. It was so successful that the coop owners and docents were overwhelmed with all the visitors questions.
We expect the 2010 tour to draw even more coop owner participants and visitors. As a result, we need volunteer help in several areas to make it the most enjoyable and educational event for all.
All volunteers should be:
Responsible
Dependable
Able to meet deadlines
Some volunteers need to be:
Poultry savvy (previous coop tour experience a plus)
Tech literate
Artistic
Able to lead subcommittees
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Docents (Helping coop owners on day of tour.)
Photography
Videos
Website helper
Artistic help with T-shirt or flyer designs
Delivering flyers
Setting up directional signs
Contacting sponsors
Tour Orientation
Tour Inspection
