I had a goanna once that ate 2 of my chicks ( when I first started ). Apart from the Goanna being wickedly HUGE it sucked that I lost the chicks.

Hubby just killed a huge spider. He hates doing it but if they come in the house they die and upto hubby to decide how. Quick or fed to the chooks. I hate them

Aww, Sam there ain't nothing wrong with spiders. Don't kill them.
We have had a bunch inside as well. They usually come in just before big rains.
I like them, they keep the mossies at bay.
